Narrative and Documentary

When filming a documentary, I begin the process with a clear outline but remain flexible to capture unexpected, authentic moments. Strong characters drive compelling stories, so I endeavour to build trust to reveal their emotions and personal journeys. Thoughtful cinematography—using framing, lighting, and composition—enhances mood and ensures each shot serves the narrative. Equally vital is sound quality; clear dialogue and rich atmospheric audio are essential for audience immersion. By combining adaptability, character focus, visual storytelling, quality sound, and careful planning for editing, you can create a documentary that feels authentic, engaging, and emotionally resonant. Of the documentary ‘Lancaster’, Brian Viner of the Daily Mail said - "A hugely poignant, timely, resonant and powerful film" ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ .

I’m currently in production as DOP filming ‘Mosquito’.
